About Tech Rep

Tech Rep located is in Wood Dale, Illinois, near Chicago's O'Hare Airport and the major expressways.

Our facility includes a fully functioning test kitchen, warehouse space and offices.

Tech Rep is a MAFSI member and covers Northern Illinois MAFSI Region 17, including the Champaign and Springfield areas, and Lake, Porter, and LaPorte counties in Indiana.

Ed Lakowski, CFSP (elakowski@techrepusa.com) - Ed is the president and founder of Tech Rep and manages much of the consultant relationships. His vast foodservice experience includes sales management for manufacturers and over 33 years as an independent rep. He is currently president of MAFSI Region 17, a Certified Foodservice Professional, and an affiliate member of FCSI.
Sam Franklin (sam@techrepusa.com) - Sam has been a partner with Tech Rep for over 20 years and handles dealer and end-user business. His previous experience was on the manufacturing side serving both foodservice and retail grocery customers.
James Carr, CFSP (james@techrepusa.com) - James has been a partner with Tech Rep since 2003 and focuses on dealers and end-users. He previously held positions in marketing for an equipment manufacturer. James is a past-president of MAFSI Region 17 and a Certified Foodservice Professional.
Christina Raab (christina@techrepusa.com) - Christina has been in the foodservice industry since 2005. She has worked in the contract departments of two major foodservice dealerships and has been with Tech Rep since 2008. Christina concentrates on schools, healthcare, and other end-user segments.
